The Lunar Calendar is calling for a full moon on Friday, August 28  It is commonly referred to as the "Full Sturgeon Moon." 

The Latin name for the moon is "Luna," because the ancients felt that the full moon had the power to make people & even animals act crazy, to make them like "lunatics."

Many old tradition also believed that the moon itself held & released energy, and with a full moon, that energy was amplified to its fullest! This is turn, they believed, energized the spirit world, enabling those on the other side to more easily visit our physical world!

Many of those in the paranormal community can attest to this as well, claiming that "activity" seems to rise under a full moon!

So,  on this nights "The Ghost of Old New Albany Under a Full Moon Tour," as we visit each historically haunted location & hear their stories, maybe...just maybe...under the spell of a full moon...we will have some unplanned visitors from beyond!

So join us as we visit the locations where these historical hauntings happened & continue to happen! 

And all this under the otherworldly glow of the full moon!

PLEASE read all of the following BEFORE purchasing tickets

This tour is based on actual documented historical events. During the tour, we will visit the locations and the guide will share information and stories about the site. This is not a "haunted house" type tour (NO jump scares) but hopefully the chilling, graphic, and shocking details from the stories will do the trick!

We encourage you to do some spirit/ghost hunting on the tour, so please bring along some tools of the trade: cameras, EMF readers, EVP recorders etc. Most of this can be done from a cell phone! See our website for recommendations! 

This tour will mainly stay in the area of downtown New Albany with a few outliers. We visit the sites where events actually occurred, are said to have occurred, or in some instances, have a direct connection to the event (murders, mysteries, serial killers, etc.).  During this tour, we will NOT be entering any premises. 

Meet us at the Farmers Market (SE Corner of Market  St. & Bank St.) at least 10 minutes before start of the event (and earlier if you are ordering a beverage!).

Tour times are 8:30 PM until 10:30 PM - Ending time is approximate. 

Please bring your personal device (such as cell phone) as there is a supplemental web site to go along with the tour!

THIS EVENT HAPPENS RAIN OR SHINE! Always dress appropriately for the weather conditions during the walk. It is a walking tour, so we advise wearing comfortable clothing and footwear. Expect to walk a distance no more than 1.5 - 2 miles.

By purchasing tickets, you and all ticket-holders in your party agree to release The New Albany Wicked Walk, its employees, agents, and affiliates from ALL liability during your time on the tour.

If you purchased tickers for others in your group, please make them aware of this release of liability.

This walk is NOT recommended for young children as graphic and explicit details of events will be shared.

Ticket-holders should respect the nature of the tour, other ticket-holders on the tour, and the locations we visit, and therefore should refrain from making unnecessary noise or other types of disturbances while on the tour especially when a guide is talking to the tour group. Also, it is forbidden for any ticket-holders on the tour to trespass on private property during the walking tour. Failure to abide by these rules could result in being asked to leave the walk without a refund.

AGAIN...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not talk or do anything disruptive while the guides are sharing stories! If you do, you may be asked to leave the tour without a refund.  

PLEASE REFRAIN FROM VIDEO RECORDING WHILE ON THE TOUR! Pictures are encouraged but we ask you DO NOT video record to prevent possible "spoilers" for future tour participants!

Purchasing a ticket signifies you have read and understand all the guidelines and recommendations.

YOU MUST BE READY TO PRESENT YOUR TICKET (paper or digital) AT TIME OF THE TOUR TO PARTICIPATE!

T-shirts will be on sale before and after the tour for $15 each.

We have the right to cancel a tour if number of tickets sold is not satisfactory. We will notify ticket-holders and promptly process a refund.

NOTE: In case of inclement & dangerous weather on the day of a tour, please continually check your email or the website or our social media platforms for any updates regarding the status of your tour! And as always, feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you have.

Tickets are NON-refundable.  Due to the nature of event ticket sales, we are not offering refunds for cancellations / no shows.  However, we will work with you to the best of our ability to reschedule you / your group on another scheduled regular tour. 

NOTE: The email address you enter when you purchase tickets will be the main way of direct communication between the New Albany Wicked Walk and you. So please, provide an email that you check on a regular basis.
