Religion and diversity in NI schools (talk by Prof. Tony Gallagher)

There are a number of ways in which greater opportunities for engagement between young people through schools can be enhanced, including each school attracting a more religiously diverse enrolment. The presentation examines whether this has actually happened since the Good Friday/Belfast Agreement.

Tony Gallagher is an Honorary Professor at Queen’s University Belfast and has previously held a number of leadership roles in the University. His main research interests lie in the role of education in divided societies and the civic role of higher education.
