Theo Dussek Pirate Troubadour releases his new album 'Written in the River'. With support from singer and guitarist Dan Lukes

With songs imagining the past-lives of sailors, what the whales know or stories of star-written love, Theo’s musings for ‘Written in the River’ are inspired by the mysticism, power and romance of the oceans and rivers.

This album is a testament to the winds of fate that guide our paths and shares the stories of Theo’s life and love, celebrating all facets of the human and spiritual experience.

Sometimes pure folk, other times indie-pop/folk fusion, at this intersection of genres these songs offer singalong strums and reflective moments.

To help showcase the album’s songs Theo, along with his rolling acoustic guitar pickings and unique voice, will be joined by a band of musicians including: flute, mandolin, violin, percussion, electric and bass guitar.

Hailing from Croydon, South London, Daniel Lukes writes dynamic, heartfelt songs with existential themes.
