The Sun and the Shameless Lady: Storytelling with Georgian Songs

'The Sun and the Shameless Lady' is a brand new interweaving of live storytelling and the haunting, edgy harmonies of Georgia. 

The show is devised and performed by the Nart Company - storyteller Dawn Ellis and virtuoso singers Joanna Foster, Sally Davies and Lucy Gibson bring to crackling life subversive myths from the wilder reaches of the Caucasus Mountains. 

Sorceress, woman or goddess? What kind of woman can seduce the sun itself, bear 100 hero sons, and live for hundreds of years without a wrinkle? What does it mean to live entirely without shame?

Find out just how far our heroine will go to reach her heart’s desire, and dive into the world of the fiery, cunning Nart people on the way.
