A welcoming textiles group held in the studio each week in term time. From fleece to felt with every aspect of wool & textile based craft in between! This group is suitable for all abilities from beginners to advanced - bring a current project or start a new one and meet like minded creatives; spinners, knitters, felters and general makers over coffee, tea & cake. Projects include all aspects of knitting, weaving, crochet, felting as well as surface textiles & stitch. Share & develop your skills and enjoy the benefits of craft for wellbeing and peer support as many expert textile artists & wool crafters are here on hand to skill share.​

Bring your own projects plus we have a library of books and ideas, various tools, sewing machines, materials and guidance available during each session plus many other opportunities for creative learning offered in and around the sessions. 

Tea, coffee & cake available at our coffee bar including fruit and herbal cordials, teas and range of coffee flavours and strengths plus delicious cakes (with dairy and gluten free options available). 

DROP IN - no previous experience required and everyone is welcome! We look forward to seeing you here soon.

THE OLD STORES STUDIO is a versatile art, craft & creative studio, workshop and events space in Evercreech - 10 minutes from Bruton & Castle Cary in Somerset - under an hour from Bath & Bristol, UK.

The Old Stores Studio Cancellation Policy: Please note if you find yourself unable to attend your booking I'm afraid we are unable to offer a refund but you can transfer your ticket to another person in advance. Please let us know if you wish to do this. If the studio cancels your booking for any reason we will do our best to reschedule the workshop on an alternative date, transfer your credit to another workshop or if that is not possible we can issue a full refund upon request. Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds for SS&L courses due to administrative and material costs. Many thanks.
