Come together at the studio with your female friends and celebrate international women's day with us! During this engaging three-hour workshop you’ll craft striking geometric necklaces using materials including leather, wood, and metal.

Guided by professional tutors, you’ll learn essential techniques such as, shaping, and assembling components. Experiment with textures, finishes, and colour combinations to design a one-of-a-kind statement piece that reflects your personal style.

A perfect blend of creativity and skill-building, this workshop is suitable for beginners and those looking to expand their crafting knowledge. You’ll leave with a custom-made necklace and the skills to continue creating unique designs at home.

Limited funded workshop spaces are available so please book in advance to secure a place. Each low cost funded ticket price covers tuition, refreshments and all materials and tools provided. Delicious cake and tea are provided plus we have gluten and dairy free options available. Please state if you have any dietary requirements at the point of booking when asked about specific needs.

*This workshop is funded by SS&L and is part of our Creative Community Workshop series and focuses on the benefits of learning, participation and creativity for health and wellbeing with a donation for materials at the point of booking. To qualify for a funded place you need to be aged over 19 and live in Somerset and register an account with SS&L through the link given to you once you have purchased your ticket. If you are not based in Somerset (e.g. North Somerset, BANES , Dorset) but would like to take part please contact us first before booking so we can ensure the cost of your place is covered. Please note you can only gain funding for one level of learning (taster/starter/developer/enhancer) in any one academic year so check if you have received funding to complete that level before booking a place.

We request that you make a donation of whatever you can towards the full ticket price of £50. Please adjust your donation amount accordingly at the point of booking your ticket. A minimum donation is incorporated into your ticket price to cover costs and every donation above that supports our community interest work, enabling the delivery of our low cost, inclusive learning programme.

THE OLD STORES STUDIO is a versatile art, craft & creative studio, workshop and events space in Evercreech - 10 minutes from Bruton, Somerset - under an hour from Bath & Bristol, UK. We are a non profit organisation delivering a programme of creative events and activities to support wellbeing and provide opportunities for people to get together to develop and share creative skills with others in their local community. Everything we do is for and goes back into our local community and everyone is welcome!

The Old Stores Studio Cancellation Policy: Please note if you find yourself unable to attend your booking I'm afraid we are unable to offer a refund but you can transfer your ticket to another person in advance. Please let us know if you wish to do this. If the studio cancels your booking for any reason we will do our best to reschedule the workshop on an alternative date, transfer your credit to another workshop or if that is not possible we can issue a full refund upon request. Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds for SS&L courses due to administrative and material costs. Many thanks.
