REPEAT PATTERN PRINTING - ONE DAY WORKSHOP
10AM-3PM
SAT 12 OCT
FREE /SUGGESTED DONATION £10
Join us for this half day TASTER course where you will learn to create a repeat pattern to block print onto paper and fabric. Suitable for beginners or those wanting to develop their existing print and craft skills. You will be guided through the principles and process of creating a repeat pattern, practicing both practical maths skills naturally embedded into traditional craft skills.
Once your original design is created you will create an original hand cut printing block with which to print and once registered correctly against your existing prints can be repeated on a length of paper and fabric.
You will then be able to take your printing block home with you to make more printed lengths of fabric or paper for home furnishings, wrapping paper or wallpapers.
We will be using recycled papers, 100% cotton and environmentally friendly water based inks.
All tools, materials, tuition and delicious refreshments are included in your ticket price.
We have a wide range of tea, coffee & cake available at our coffee bar including fruit and herbal cordials, teas and range of coffee flavours and strengths plus delicious cakes (with dairy and gluten free options available).
PLEASE LET US KNOW AT THE POINT OF BOOKING YOUR TICKET IF YOU HAVE ANY SPECIFIC NEEDS WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT INCLUDING DIETARY REQUIREMENTS.
