FABRIC MASK MAKING WORKSHOP

Come and join us for a two hour creative workshop to learn the skills to make your very own fabric face mask using hand and machine sewing.  Choose from a range of gorgeous cotton printed fabrics and coloured threads and be led step by step to make your own double sided handmade face mask. Suitable for beginners or those with sewing experience. If you have to wear a mask, you may as well be stylish and make something yourself that is better for the environment and once you know how you can make as many as you want. Perfect when you’re out and about to keep you and others safe. 💚 

If you are over 18 and live in Somerset this is a subsidised creative workshop specifically devoted to you funded by SS&L.

We have a range of Art & Craft activities coming up to promote creativity and wellbeing plus a great way to reconnect safely with others in your local community. 

This workshop is £5 suggested donation per person and includes tuition, all materials and tools plus tea, coffee and delicious cake by Victoria's Sponges. Limited spaces so please book in advance to secure your place. 

This workshop is subsidised by Somerset Skills & Learning with a small suggested donation for materials. To qualify for a funded place you need to be aged over 18 and live in Somerset. You can claim one funded workshop place in an academic year (Sep-July).

COVID SAFETY - The Old Stores Studio CIC is a registered learning centre and has health and safety risk assessments , policies and procedures in place in line with current government guidelines for educational settings to keep everyone safe. Please self screen before entering the studio to lessen the spread of COV-19. If you have any covid symptoms or had contact with possible sources of the virus please stay safe and stay at home. However, if you are fit and well enough to attend the studio we encourage you to please use hand sanitiser, wear a mask when appropriate, wash your hands regularly and maintain social distance. The Old Stores Studio Cancellation Policy: Please note if you find yourself unable to attend your booking I'm afraid we are unable to offer a refund but you can transfer your ticket to another person in advance. Please let us know if you wish to do this. If the studio cancels your booking for any reason we will do our best to reschedule the workshop on an alternative date, transfer your credit to another workshop or if that is not possible we can issue a full refund upon request. Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds for SS&L courses due to administrative and material costs. Many thanks.
