Juicing Day with The Orchard Project

Join The Community Patch CIC and The Orchard Project for a hands-on traditional apple pressing session in Diggle Street Park.Chop, scratt and press apples the old‑fashioned way, and enjoy your own freshly made juice.

A fun and delicious experience for all ages. Bring your own bottle if you’d like to take some juice home. Free, just drop in. 19th October 12pm -2:30pm, Diggle Street Park, Springfield, Wigan, WN6 7DZ. 

We're delighted that Victoria Holden, orchardist and educator from The Orchard Project and Northern Lily will be joining us to host the session. This event is part of our ongoing work to improve the park for people and pollinators. The community have joined together over the past year to plant a 15 tree orchard full of apples, pears, plums and cherries, fruit bushes and herbs, and several flower beds. This is our park, and the orchard will be here for everyone to enjoy for years to come. We hope you can make it!
