Catalyst London Mixer #5 - September 2026, with The Peer Space at Balfour St Barts

Tue 8 Sep 2026 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM Balfour St Barts, 66 W Smithfield, London, EC1A 9DY

Join us at the Catalyst Mixer with The Peer Space at Balfour St Barts - Septebmer 2026

Join us on Tuesday September 8th 2026 from 5 for 530PM for a peer mixer of the local business community.

A space to gather, connect, share experiences, and insights over drinks and canapes.

Expect an open mixer session with an opportunity to speak to the room and to hear mini thought leader slots from The Peer Space vetted speaker pool, in order to really spark and stimulate the conversations around the room.

If you're there by 530pm The Peer Space will be buying a round of drinks and positioning their services in the field of peer based mixers, leaders lunches and speaker dinners for businesses and communities.

Then 3 great speakers will be sampling some of their content in mini 8 minute keynotes.

For Catalyst #5 we have:

- Julia Tyutrina with 'Modern finance as a competitive advantage', a preview of what will be covered at the inaugral Working Capital London session later in the month. Julia will explore why it is that modern leaders need a modern attitude to finance. Expect to gain practical insights into good practices, common challenges and opportunities, and to reflect on where your organisation may benefit from stronger foundations and capabilities.

- Next up, Premal Patel with 'Alone you go fast, together you go far', an elaboration on why it is that collaboration is not as simple as being nice to each other, but rather about removing the structural, cultural, and psychological barriers that prevent people from doing their best work together. Because in a complex world, the greatest competitive advantage isn't individual brilliance - it's the collective intelligence you unlock through radical collaboration.

- And finally, Sophie Newbould with 'From harm to healed: the power of trust for economic growth'. In this talk, Sophie introduces a different way of thinking about economic growth, drawing on over two decades' experience in law, government and commercial strategy. She'll present why trust should be recognised as one of the world's most valuable economic assets and how preventing harm is often the greatest opportunity to create value.

What to expect at Catalyst Mixers:

- A curated, thoughtful space, tailor made for connecting the local business community
- A dedicated space at a conveniently located venue, with time for sharing and speakers
- Open Networking at the bar before and after
- Opportunities to share experiences, stories, and challenges with peers

See you there!
