Dan Whitehouse 'Only Love' tour

Friday 30 October at 8pm

Dan Whitehouse - Only Love
An intimate evening of songs, stories and extraordinary musicianship.

Award-winning singer-songwriter Dan Whitehouse makes his debut at The David Hall, joined by acclaimed Swedish multi-instrumentalist Gustaf Ljunggren, along with guitar and backing vocals by Molly Rymer, to perform music from his new album, Only Love, released 16 October.

Moving between piano, electric guitar, lap steel, keyboards and ukulele, Dan and Gustaf create a rich and ever-changing sound world. Their remarkable musical empathy allows songs to unfold differently each night, with Dan’s deeply affecting voice and finely crafted lyrics held within Gustaf’s inventive, atmospheric arrangements.

Dan's new album, Only Love, explores love, resilience and fatherhood across continents. He will also perform songs from The Glass Age, Voices From The Cones, That’s Where I Belong and beyond.

Gustaf will perform selections from his own evocative instrumental work including his debut solo release, Along The Low Road, a quietly powerful body of work that offers calm, connection and a sense of perspective. This is a rare chance to experience one of the Nordic scene’s most distinctive voices up close.

Expect an evening of exceptional musicianship, warmth, humour and honest storytelling, moving from pin-drop intimacy to joyful, full-blooded collaboration.
