Known for magnetizing performances, chilling harmonies, and a captivating style of improvisation, Detroit's funky fusion quartet, Act Casual, has found prominent ground in the Midwest music scene by blending the blues, funk, long instrumentals, and infectious melodies. In the last few years, the band has brought their sound from jamming in a basement to playing sold out shows at iconic venues.

Bootsy Collins, blues Legend Larry McCray, Laith al-Saadi, Brendan Bayliss and Ryan Stasik (Umphrey's McGee), Spafford, Ben Carrey (Pigeons Playing Ping Pong), The Magic Beans, Moon Hooch, Muruga Booker and Gabe Gonzalez (Parliament Funkadelic), The Nth Power, The Werks, Mihali of Twiddle, and Dizgo.

The young funk quartet have also made a name for themselves in the music festival circuit, performing at Summer Camp Music Festival, Weekend at the Cave, Solshine Reverie, Hookaville, Good People Good Times, Ohio Dreamfest, Ann Arbor Hash Bash, and many more.

The presence they have built on stage and throughout the Midwest is undeniable, leading to press in Rolling Stone Magazine, The Detroit Metro Times.
