Let's Talk Photos - Club

Meetings will be on the second Tuesday of the month, 7 - 9pm at Laneham Village Hall DN22 0NG

First meeting of the new club:  Tuesday 10th January 2023 

and every second Tuesday of the month after that.

No equipment needed! There is so much to learn and appreciate about photos without even pressing a button!

The emphasis of this new club will be about:

• Building confidence with using your camera
  
• Being able to 'see' light
  
• Creating great photos with the minimum of fuss
  
• Informal, optional monthly challenges, (not competitions!) to help you improve
• Enjoying photography as a whole, your own photos and those of others

What to bring with you (optional for regular club meetings)

• Your camera, (not necessarily your whole kit) in case when things are being discussed, you can check things there and then or during the break while it's still in your mind.
  
• The Operating Instructions (the 'big' manual) for your camera (or a link to the PDF version that you can email to me so I can refer to it if needed)
  
• An SD Card or USB stick with a dedicated folder and a maximum of 5 images if you want to take up the opportunity to share your images for feedback on the evening (or you can email them over to me in advance, minimum 2000px one dimension, if you're unsure what that means, then please email me)
  
• Refreshments - there will be Tea, Coffee and Hot Chocolate (inc. de-caff versions). Feel free to bring herbal options and your own sweeteners. Biscuits will be full fat and full sugar only and with all the usual allergens, so please feel free to bring your own 'free-from' versions if you'd like to.
  

It is hoped to run these monthly meetings on an informal 'book and pay as you go' basis so that there are no formal memberships or subscriptions, however, this might change, depending on how regular 'members' would like the club to run.

Occasionally, 'regular club meetings' may be changed into evenings with a particular theme, this will be made known during the booking process and the monthly email (please ask to join by emailing me below) plus any posts on Facebook and the 'Let's Talk Photos' FB Group.

A modest ticket fee applies, simply to cover costs of hall hire, refreshments etc.
