The Photography Foundation Core Training Programme: Taster Session (Onsite)

Due to popular demand, we are hosting a second taster session!

Explore The Photography Foundation’s Training Programme with this hands-on session—experience the studio, meet the team, and see what’s in store. We'll be offering plenty of tips on how to write a strong application.

Are you aged 18-25, based in London, and thinking about applying to our six-month Training Programme?

Join our Taster Session at our fully equipped photography studio in North Greenwich for a hands-on experience that will give you a glimpse of life as a trainee. 

Doors open at 5pm for a 5:30pm start!

You’ll:

Get creative: Try studio portrait photography and editing using Mac desktops and Adobe software.

Explore the studio: Tour the space where trainees attend workshops and gain real-world experience.

Ask questions: Take part in a Q&A with The Photography Foundation facilitators & trainees to learn more about the programme.

Attending this session is strongly recommended to help you prepare for making a successful application and gain a full understanding of what the programme involves.

Important Information

Booking Fee: There is a £5 booking fee, which will be refunded in full once you have attended the session. Spaces are very limited! If you need to cancel, let us know in advance so we can release your spot for someone else.

Programme Application Deadline: Apply by Tuesday 3 February 2026.

Eligibility: Open to individuals aged 18-25 who meet the programme’s criteria.
