SMOKESTACK CITY live at THE PHYLLIS MAUD

Smokestack City returns to The Phyllis Maud this October with a fantastic lineup featuring Morgan Reader, Maharaja Blues and Alys Hardy. 

Morgan Reader encapsulates the spirit of delta blues in both sound and story. From his sheer reverence of the bluesmen of old, to his dedicated to his craft, not just in his playing but in the tones he creates from his National and Martin guitars, Reader is a rare gem and one that needs to be seen live, up close and personal to truly appreciate that blues music is as alive now as it was a hundred years ago.

Support on the night comes from Devauden's House of Roots legends Maharaja Blues and Cardiff's soulful songbird, Alys Hardy.

Very limited capacity. Tickets £12 advance.

The venue will be running a dry bar with soft and hot drinks available. Alcohol can be brought onto the premises for the small fee of £3 per person (please select the 'corkage' option when purchasing your ticket, or you can pay on the day). Standard procedures such as Challenge 25 still apply.
