The Shine Pole Competition is Back—Bigger and Bolder Than Ever!

Join us for an unforgettable night where the spotlight shines on our incredible community of pole artists, each bringing their unqiue talent, creativity, and passion to the stage. Get ready to applaud the competitors as they perform gravity-defying Pole Tricks, perfect breathtaking synchronisation in Double Performers, and deliver pure artistry in Pole Dance. Each category showcases the unique skills and styles of our students, promising an evening filled with awe-inspiring talent.

Each competitor has  poured their all into every move, training tirelessly to create their routine in an attempt to claim the coveted Shine Champion title. This year’s talent is so great that we’re delivering one huge night split into two shows.

Join us for an evening of athleticism and artistry at the Shine 2024 Pole Competition, hosted at Deakin Edge, Federation Square. Located at the vibrant intersection of Swanston St and Flinders St, Melbourne VIC 3000.

  • Show 1: Beginner, Intermediate, and Dance Levels - 5 to 7 PM
  • Show 2: Doubles, Advanced, and Elite Levels - 8 to 10 PM
• Doors Open: 30 minutes before the show begins.

Venue Details:

• Location: Deakin Edge, Federation Square, Swanston St & Flinders St, Melbourne VIC 3000.
• Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible by request.
• Age Restrictions: All ages are welcome; please note that no alcohol is served at the venue.
• Content Warning: The show may contains some acts with explicit language and partial nudity (g-string, or nipple tassels for example)

Additional Information:

• Food & Drink: The venue does not sell food, drink, or alcohol. However, there are plenty of options available at nearby bars and restaurants.
• Stalls: Arrive early to explore a variety of stalls in the foyer before the show starts! We’ll have plenty of clothing, heels and merchandise on sale.
• Two shows (one epic night): Tickets are sold separately to each show. We encourage attendees to purchase tickets to both show 1 and show 2 at the special rate. We will take a 1-hour break between the shows, plenty of time to enjoy the amazing food and drink that Melbourne City has to offer.
• About: The Pole Room is a pole dancing for fitness company with 5 locations across Melbourne. Competitors are students that train and learn pole at our studios. This is an amateur event.
