Biography:
Kerrin Wilson QPM
Former Assistant Chief Constable, Lincolnshire Police
Kerrin retired from her role as Assistant Chief Constable of Lincolnshire Police after spending three decades in policing in five police forces.
Over the years Kerrin’s various roles have seen her leading the training delivery to the Iraqi Police in Baghdad, carrying out national and international duties as a hostage negotiator for 20 years and in 2022 being awarded the prestigious Queen’s Police Medal for helping to develop women and people from minority backgrounds in policing. She has been a keen advocate for the equality agenda both within policing and in wider business environments.
During her years as a chief officer Kerrin held national portfolios for Professionalising Investigations (PIP) and Leadership Development of Minority officers / staff. This included the development of the Future Supers programme which is now embedded in the College of Policing and she was one of the founders of the national network Women of Colour in Policing (WoCiP).
Currently Kerrin's roles include the recruitment and selection of Judges for the Judicial Appointments Commission, Leadership consultant with Human Alchemy and College of Policing, Senior Associate with Police Foundation, Governor with Lincoln College and Chair of the YMCA Lincolnshire.
