Program Design 1
Program Design 1
You're spending hours designing programs. Your clients aren't getting the results. Something's broken.
You're overthinking every session. You're second-guessing your programming. You're copying workouts from Instagram or defaulting to the same template for every client because you were never properly taught how to think about program design.
The result? Clients plateau. Sessions feel generic. And you're burning time trying to build the "perfect" program when the real problem is you don't have a system for building the right one.
What will I actually walk away with?
- A clear system for thinking about program design, so you stop guessing
- The ability to match physical challenge to each client's ability, goals, experience, and recovery capacity
- Confidence to adapt programming in real time during sessions, rather than sticking rigidly to what you wrote
- A framework for structuring sessions with a clear rationale you can explain to clients
- Consistency in client progress because your programming is built on principles, not preferences
- The tools to build effective programs faster, without overthinking
- Workshop notes, a reference pack, and practical frameworks to use in your ongoing coaching
What happens over the two days?
Day 1 (Thursday 30th July 9am - 5pm) Introduction and participant intros. Core program design frameworks including the Four I's. Understanding client levels and needs. Foundations of strength training and movement quality. Evening group meal and informal connection time.
Day 2 (Friday 31st July 9am - 5pm) Recap and build on Day 1. Continued strength work. Introduction to conditioning and its role. Integrating strength and conditioning. Practical application: writing real program design.
How it's delivered: The format is a mix of lecture, discussion, and practical application. You'll learn a concept, apply it, reflect on it, and then build understanding through repetition. This isn't theory you'll forget by Monday. It's embedded into how you think.
Who This Is For:
✅ Coaches who haven't been properly taught program design principles.
✅ Newer coaches who feel stuck, spend too long writing sessions, or rely on copying workouts.
✅ Also experienced coaches who still lack a clear system.
✅ If you're guessing more than you're deciding, this is for you.

- Is this the same as the online CPT content? No. This is a standalone in-person experience focused specifically on program design principles.
- What's the next step after this? Time spent applying what you've learned. There's a natural progression to Program Design 2.0, but only after you've integrated 1.0 into your real coaching.
