This is a free cookery session for care experienced young people aged 14-18.
Led by a qualified Food Studies teacher and adoptive parent.
Attendees will be taught how to make cost-effective, tasty and nutritious meals, providing a basic and essential life skill as they move towards independence.
At the end of each session, attendees have the option of eating together. Each young person will be provided with a Raft branded apron and a recipe folder with laminated recipe cards, so they can re-create recipes in the future.
11am to 1.30pm, Sat 13th June at Leicester High School, 454 London Road, LE2 2PP. Parking on site (follow the signs)
Spaces: max 8 young people. Each young person must attend with their parent / carer / key adult.
So to book for 1 young person you need 1 adult space, 2 young people, two adult spaces etc.
