Join Therapy Tribe, a passion project of Center for Intimacy Recovery, for an improv playground led by Beauregard Creative Arts Therapy!
When did being a therapist get so serious? For mental health professionals, the weight of clinical responsibility can quietly squeeze out the spontaneity, messiness, and joy that make the work truly alive. This is your invitation to step out of the "expert" chair and into something a little wilder.
In this highly experiential session, you'll reclaim your sense of play, rediscover your vitality, and explore how creative messiness can actually deepen your clinical work. Through core improv tenets like spontaneity, co-creation, and radical presence, we'll practice letting go of the need to know and discover how that freedom translates into more relational, transformative connections with clients.
No acting experience needed. Just an open mind and a willingness to play.
All activities are designed to be inclusive and adaptable for all levels of mobility.
This event is made possible by our sponsor Shine Psychotherapy, a group practice specializing in individuals and families navigating addiction, trauma, and mental illness (ages 15+). With offices in NYC and Fairfield, CT, they are in-network with Cigna and offer sliding scale and complimentary out-of-network billing options.
