Join the RRA's Paris Gathering 2027

Join rabbinic colleagues from across Europe, Israel, and North America for four days of learning, conversation, and relationship building. Learn how shared issues (e.g. civic engagement, interfaith relations, antisemitism, etc) play out in different societies. Deepen our understanding of Jewish peoplehood.

Program Highlights

• Our home base at the Communauté Juive Libérale (CJL), hosted by Rabbi Pauline Bebe, the first woman rabbi in France
• Meeting students at the only liberal Jewish seminary in France
• A guided walk through the Marais with Rabbi Tom Cohen
• Visits to the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire du Judaïsme and the Mémorial de la Shoah
• Conversations with rabbis, academics, and multifaith leaders, including Rabbi Delphine Horvilleur (schedule permitting)

Schedule
The program begins at 9:00 am on Tuesday, March 30, and ends with a closing brunch on Friday, April 2, concluding at noon (Paris time).

Program Fee (Community Supported Sliding Scale)

• $720 Sustaining
• $500 Standard
• $360 Supported

The program fee covers speakers, guides, museum admissions, a Metro pass, space rentals, and two meals each day. (You are responsible for your fare to Paris and for lodging)

Lodging
Our home base is the CJL, 11 rue Moufle, 75011 Paris, in the Bastille-Marais neighborhood. Many hotels are within a 5 to 10 minute walk, from about €125 a night (shared room in a 3-star hotel) to €450 a night (5-star hotel), with many boutique options in the €250 to €300 range. In December we will send a list of recommended hotels.

How to Register
The gathering is limited to 18 participants. 

1. Click the “Sign Up to Join the RRA's Paris Gathering 2027" button and indicate your preferred level.
2. Pay the $200 non-refundable deposit to confirm your place.
3. Please sign up as soon as possible. Space is limited, after October 15th, there may be a waiting list.
4. The balance will be due December 31, 2026.

Shabbat Options
For those who can stay longer, we will arrange Shabbat options elsewhere in France. Partners and family members are welcome to join the group at that time. Details will follow in December, along with a request for dietary needs.

Pre-Gathering Webinars
All RRA members are invited to a series of Zoom webinars before the trip, whether or not you travel with us.

Accessibility
Please note that we will get around Paris mainly by Metro, which is largely inaccessible for people with significant mobility needs. If this affects you, please reach out so we can talk through options.
