We spend so much time looking at ourselves: in mirrors, on Zoom, in front-facing cameras. But do you know your face without looking?
This is an invitation to close your eyes, release perfection, and see yourself a bit more clearly. Paint yourself from the inside out. Then weave that portrait together with a photo of you in your happy place. One piece holds both the you the world sees and the you only you can feel.
Rooted in the R.E.S.T. Method™: Regulate, Explore, See, Transform.
What we'll do
- Paint a meditative, blind self-portrait in watercolor, then admire it, exactly as it is
- Slow down with guided journaling
- Layer color, cut, and weave your painting and photo into one original piece
You'll leave with
- Your woven self-portrait
- A PLOT SHIFT Field Notes journal
Bring: A photo of yourself that you love, in your happy place, saved on your phone.
No art experience needed. Imperfection encouraged.
