Talks and workshops

Satish Kumar: Peace is possible

Pete Yeo: Making Peace with Himalayan Balsam – an exercise in reconciliation ecology

Susan Clark: Unexpected Pollinators
Join Susan Clark, editor of Resurgence & Ecologist, for a quietly intimate writing workshop – a curated invitation to first connect with and then co-write with your Nature allies.

Voice Workshop with William Tooby
William Tooby, founding director of The Fold CIC and a voice coach passionate about singing Raga, will support and encourage you to find your own unique and embodied voice.

Music and storytelling

Three Daft Monkeys

Returning for this year’s camp, Three Daft Monkeys bring their eclectic mix of Celtic and Eastern influences and their dynamic style of world folk music that reflects the global village in which we live.

Peter Chand: Tales from the Motherland
International Storyteller Peter Chand has enthralled audiences both near and far with his skilfully told tales, specialising in traditional tales from his Indian background. Peter believes that we are all made up of stories; whether it is folktales from our culture, cinematic classics, faith-based parables, or the stories we tell about ourselves and about others. Narratives are part of our DNA.

Movement and meditation
Earth Festival with Georgie Gilmore

Georgie Gilmore will host a journey of Nature connection, guided meditation, reflective writing and Earth-inspired music that will deepen your relationship with Nature, with yourself, and with yourself as a part of Nature.

Yoga with Colette Stein
Colette will be offering Gentle Wake-up Stretch – slow yoga and breathing to ease us into the day.

Open Space Session
An opportunity to work together with whatever topics arises from our weekend. If you have something that you would like to share, come along and participate in an interactive session. If there's something you'd really like to know about, suggest a topic and see what emerges.

Open mic around the fire
Your chance to share a song, dance, sing, or perform solo or with friends. Bring instruments, a poem, a song and join in the entertainment.

Keep a look out for further programme announcements.

Reviews from previous participants
The Resurgence camp is a wonderful opportunity to replenish amongst beautiful souls and on the land. It deeply nourishes those parts of ourselves that often get neglected in day to day life. I returned with a sense of hope and community.

It was everything I’d hoped it would be: inspiring, sociable, thought-provoking, fun, engaging, relaxing, well organised and great food!

I left the Summer Camp with a profound sense of calm energy and hopefulness.

A beautiful, creative and inspirational place to be and share.

Do not hesitate to book this summer camp. It will everything you are looking for and also everything that you are waiting to discover and rediscover. It is a people place. In the words of the poet William J. Crocker: "This is a place where spirits can take wing, where feelings can be heard, where people will accept you as you are and where you can just be 'me''.

A beautifully designed programme of inspiring talks, practice, story and nature in a eco-informed venue that encourages us to walk gently on the earth.

Having an ecologically centred worldview can sometimes feel very lonely (especially when with close friends/family who don't share that view). Come to the Summer Camp and immerse yourself in the warm glow of being with kindred spirits.

Everything I imagined it to be - wonderful poetry, talks, music, stories, food, cake, bar, showers, weather, wildflower walk, location, solar panels, people, baby bell tent... inspired!
