Life Drawing Group

Resurgence Life Drawing Group at The Resurgence Centre, Hartland, North Devon.

This is a friendly, mindful, unguided group of artists celebrating the human form. Life drawing is important for artists to hone their skills whether they are beginners or established artists. 

Taking place in a beautiful gallery room at The Resurgence Centre in Hartland, North Devon. Hosted by experienced life drawing model, Mark Gough, we start with some quick poses for you to draw to warm up, then try some longer poses so you have more time to fine-tune your drawings. Depending on the length of each pose, you will be encouraged to be either fast and decisive with your mark-making, or more considered and detailed.

Please note: this event does feature full nudity. We will livestream the event via Zoom. Only the model will be seen. The event will not be recorded.

If you are joining us in person: Please bring your own materials. We provide easels and resting boards for your use, plus tea & biscuits.

Location: The Resurgence Centre, School Lane, Hartland, EX39 6AB

There are limited spaces in our beautiful gallery room, so please prebook your place. Please use the car park accessed via School Lane, follow the path through the garden to the Resurgence Centre on the left. Do not park on Fore Street/Gregory Terrace or School Lane.
