For over fifty years, Satish has inspired global change through a life of radical simplicity, courage, and love. Most famously, he undertook a two-year pilgrimage for peace, walking without money from India to America in support of nuclear disarmament, delivering a humble gift of peace tea to the leaders of the four nuclear powers.

Now in his 90th year, Satish continues to devote his life to ecological regeneration, social justice, and the deep work of inner and outer transformation.

A world-renowned author and international speaker, Satish is the founder of The Resurgence Trust and Editor Emeritus of Resurgence & Ecologist — the change-making magazine he stewarded for over four decades.
