To ensure the wellbeing of people and planet, in the present and in the future, it is crucial that the more fortunate learn to live more simply. Gandhi said that the world has enough for everyone's need, but not for everyone’s greed, so we must all begin to live lightly on the Earth.

Julia Hobsbawm is an acclaimed entrepreneur and author who put the concept of social health – connected behaviour as a form of wellbeing and productivity – on the map. She has addressed global audiences on the subject, from major corporations in the UK, US, Europe and Asia, to institutions from the OECD, to talking directly to the World Health Organization about changing its definition of health to accommodate social health. She is a columnist for strategy+business magazine, editor-at-large for Arianna Huffington's wellbeing portal Thrive Global, and a contributor to The British Academy's Future of the Corporation programme. Julia is the author of ‘The Simplicity Principle’.
Satish Kumar is an internationally acclaimed speaker, author and editor. A former Jain monk and long-term peace and environment activist, he has been quietly setting the global agenda for change for over 50 years. Satish is founder of The Resurgence Trust, an educational charity (no. 1120414) that promotes ecological regeneration, social justice and spiritual fulfilment. He edited Resurgence magazine for 43 years and is currently editor emeritus at Resurgence & Ecologist. He is the author of many books, including ‘Elegant Simplicity’. You can find his books here.
Rob Greenfield is an activist and humanitarian dedicated to leading the way to a more regenerative and just world. He embarks on extreme projects to bring attention to important global issues and inspire positive change. He cycled across the US three times on a bamboo bicycle, bearing his message of regeneration and Earth-friendly living. Rob’s life is an embodiment of the philosophy that we should be the change we wish to see in the world. He believes that our actions really do matter and that as individuals and communities we have the power to improve the world around us.
