Louise Chester, Founder of Mindfulness at Work
Wednesday 26 January 2022
7.30-9 pm GMT Online, Zoom
After a series of leadership positions in the world of finance, in 2002 Louise Chester decided to fully live her purpose by bringing teaching on presence and compassion to the corporate world. Her mission was to enable many thousands to find their purpose, create value and thrive, not just in the workplace, but in all areas of their lives. She founded a not-for-profit retreat centre in 2003 and then Mindfulness at Work in 2010 after many years of training in and sharing the mindfulness practices and purpose work that had been so important for her.
Louise partners extensively with other thought leaders to bring programmes and retreats to the corporate world to enable the kind of positive and sustainable cultures that attract talent and unlock potential, purpose and value. She works with clients such as Unilever, Citigroup, Co-op and Cisco.
Louise has contributed to several recent publications, including Conscious Capitalism Field Guide by Raj Sisodia et al., And Now for the Good News by Ruby Wax, Wanderful by David Pearl, and The Simplicity Principle and The Nowhere Office by Julia Hobsbawm.
