With article author, Hugh Webster
In this meeting, we will come together and reflect with author Hugh Webster about his article 'With or Without Wolves' from 'The Future in our Hands' January/February edition of Resurgence & Ecologist Magazine. This piece explores the confusion and controversy that surrounds rewilding, and in particular, the reintroduction of the wolf, an apex predator that inspires hatred and love, fear and excitement.
Feedback about previous Resurgence Readers' Groups
"Can I just say a massive thank you for organising the Resurgence Readers’ Group session. Such positive discussion, valuable debate, So enlivening being able to share ideas and be in conversation with like-minded individuals from around the world. I very much look forward to future sessions and to building more positive and affirming links through the Resurgence family." Readers' Group attendee
"Thank you for such a fantastic session. It says a lot that in one conversation you can discuss the impact of light on wildlife, the pressures and potential injustices of sourcing core materials from Africa and the global south, the genuine fear caused by human anxiety of walking alone in dark streets and the utter joy and delight of seeing a sky filled with a million, uninterrupted stars. An hour never seems long enough." Readers' Group attendee
More about Resurgence Readers' Groups

Bringing together a network of like-minded people, they provide a space in which the topics raised in Resurgence & Ecologist can continue to be explored as we discuss our experiences and ideas about environmental issues, ethical living, wellbeing and the arts. These groups always serve as a thought-provoking, heart-warming, action-inspiring hour of connection and community.
