Join us for a leisurely 3-mile ride from The Ride Cafe to The Toyary. Bike along back roads, paths, and The Northern Strand, where the Toyary's new warehouse is located. We'll pass Oak Grove on the way to The Toyary and head back through Pine Banks Park. At The Toyary, have the kids play* in the gorgeous warehouse that's chock full of all the best toys and games. Enjoy coffee and bagels and socialize with Toyary and Ride Cafe members. Bike back with the group, or stay to explore Malden and The Northern Strand after the event.

The Toyary is a membership-based, sustainability-driven toy lending platform and service available to parents and caregivers. We offer a convenient, local, and affordable alternative to advancing children’s development through play. The Toyary is located at 730 Eastern Ave, Malden, and along The Northern Strand Community Trail. Please bring cords to lock bikes to one another, as bike parking is limited.

The Northern Strand Community Trail is a 11.5 mile shared use path from the Mystic River to the Lynn seashore. Only 2-miles from The Ride Cafe, the Northern Strand connects us with the natural beauty of marshes, rivers, and beaches. Starting in 2024, construction on the path is set to be extended with a separated and safe on-road facility for an additional two miles through Downtown Lynn, the Lynnway, and to Nahant Beach.

Bike to the Sea has been working since 1993 to create the Northern Strand Community Trail. With over 150 members, Bike to the Sea holds regular social events and group rides.
