Friday 12th July at the Shelford Feast sees an evening of Philly and Motown vibes from the incredible Natalie Williams' Soul Family - a 10 piece soul band that has held a monthly residency at Ronnie Scott's for the last 16 years!
Mobo-nominated singer Natalie (ex-Incognito) is backed by an array of incredible artists in their own right. Singers from Basement Jaxx and Ceelo Green, amongst others, plus The Atlantic Horns (Mark Brown on sax & Ben Edwards on trumpet) who have played with the likes of Amy Winehouse, Girls Aloud, Basement Jaxx, Mark Ronson and regularly tour with Robbie Williams. The rhythm section is usually made up of Robin Mullarkey on bass (Zero7, Roisin Murphy, Laura Mvula, ESKA), Martyn Kaine on drums (Kyle Eastwood, Nitin Sawhney, Jocelyn Brown), Phil Peskett on keys (Moloko, Cinematic Orchestra, Nik Kershaw) and Ben Jones on guitar (Pixie Lott, Kelly Rowland, Jazmine Sullivan, Westlife and the VOICE band).
The Feast bar and food tent are cashless, accepting contactless and card payment for your food and drink purchases.
This is a standing event; while casual seating is available there is no allocated seating. Strobe lighting effects will be used during this performance.
