In the glorious setting of St Mary's Church in Great Shelford, we invite you to enjoy a concert by the Moonlight Mandolin Orchestra and café jazz band, Shakey Breaks the Ice.
The Moonlight Mandolin Orchestra is based in Cambridge and is an orchestra for plucked string instruments, featuring mandolins, mandolas, guitars and bass. They play many different styles of music from all over the world.
Shakey Breaks the Ice features Trevor Barlow on clarinet and saxophone, Bert Santilly on accordion and Hugh Boyde on guitar, playing café jazz, swing, Parisian and Eastern European music.
The two groups will join forces for a rare performance of a Klezmer concerto for Clarinet, Accordion and Mandolin Orchestra.
The £10 entry ticket includes a glass of wine. Children accompanying a fee paying adult enter free.
