Welcome to the Hive's next Meet Up!
It can be lonely out here launching, growing and flourishing in our businesses. We're busy bees, juggling family commitments, life admin and driving a business we're passionate about. We generate lots of ideas with no team to sound-check them, until now…
We'd love you to join us and other Hive members for a cuppa and chat about our amazing small businesses. Informal, but with a round-table structure so we get to hear and share, feel motivated and inspired!
Where: Second Nature (Previously called Room2), 10 Windmill Rd, Chiswick, London W4 1SD
We have reserved a space and the bar will be open for you to purchase teas, coffees, pastries etc. Second Nature are kindly supporting Small Business Hive Members with 10% off all purchases at the bar. Mention you're in the Hive and they'll add the discount! 🐝💛✨
Spaces are limited for our Hive Meet Ups so we can get to meet each other properly and connect as a group.
Please let us know if you are no longer able to make it so that we can open up your place to someone else.
NOT YET SIGNED UP? Tick the box when you book and we'll sign you up. Easy.
CAN'T MAKE THIS DATE? Check out all the upcoming Hive events here.

ABOUT THE VENUE
Surrounded by cafes and boutiques, London’s first hometel is inspired by the arts and craft movement, celebrating local artists and handcraft. Enjoy the flexibility and comfort of kitchenettes in room, with on site cafe and bar.
As a ‘whole life net zero’ hometel, 100% of the carbon emissions from conception through to end-of-life have been reduced and rebalanced to zero. This is the 1st hotel in the world to do so.
ABOUT THE HOSTS
The Small Business Hive has been co-founded by Sarah and Laura. Two local mums and owners of small businesses who both wanted a space to connect, talk about the challenges of self-employed work over a coffee - and realised it was a wider, collective need.
Sarah Sole, runs two businesses @sourced.studio and @icklepicklepreloved and is a mum to three children. Sarah is passionate about sustainable fashion and has a keen eye for high-end homeware, clothing and accessories.
“I set up Sourced as a way to share my love of preloved homeware, fashion and jewellery. My mum and Nan used to take me around the charity shops as a little girl and I just loved rummaging for all the interesting one off things you could find. Well, that love never went away and most weekends you’ll find me wandering around car boot sales with my kids or in and out of charity shops, sourcing the best pieces to bring to you on here.”
Laura Edralin, runs @lauraletterslife and is a mum to two boys. Laura is passionate about creativity and mental health, delivering calligraphy workshops and courses to boost people’s wellbeing.
“I love sharing ways to help people support their wellbeing and mental health using creativity and mindfulness. I want to help people step away from the busyness of life by getting creative and dropping into a calming flow state - with just a pen!”
