Fire. Food. Worms moving in.

The daffs are starting to poke through. In our tumblers, the microbes are busy composting.

So we thought: it’s a good time to gather!

Join us for a free fire-and-soil gathering by our Community Centre compost station as we mark the shift toward spring - and welcome the next phase of the compost cycle 😍

What’s happening?

• Fire bowl by the station
• Food and drink (BYO)
• Bring songs to sing and stories to tell (bonus points if worms and/or soil feature)
• And yes, there'll be a worm ceremony.

Worm ceremony??

Our first batch of winter scraps has completed its hot compost phase in the Jora tumblers. Now it moves into the maturation stage - where our amazing new worms get involved!

Hot composting gets things going.
Worms finish the job 😎

They take what’s half-made and turn it into lush, active living soil.

Which is another way of saying our member's winter scraps → worms do their thing = scrumptious summer soil!

Free to attend. All welcome.
