What better way to celebrate the summer than to feature some of the best of the next generation of players in the UK! This month we are delighted to welcome saxophonist Lauren Breen and her quintet to Obie’s

Although just recently graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire (along with two others in the group), Lauren is already making her mark on the scene with gigs at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex, Kings Place and the World Heartbeat Academy to mention a few. With her great sound, inventive soloing, warm stage presence and a terrific band, this is not to be missed!

JOINING THE PARTY in the second set will be some SPECIAL GUESTS... including some of the great musicians who have featured earlier in the season and as well as a few more of the ‘up and coming’ . What form will it take - who knows? But this is what jazz musicians do: working in the moment with those on stage and making great music. Join us!
