Space Careers Panel & Fair

Join us for an afternoon dedicated to exploring careers in the space sector at the MIT Kavli Institute. The Space Careers Panel will take place in Room 212 from 4:30 to 5:15 pm, followed by a Space Careers & Resources Fair in the adjacent Marlar Lounge, running until 6:30 pm.

The panel will bring together inspiring space professionals who will share insights into their own career journeys, pathways into the field, and advice for students and early-career professionals:

Following the panel, attendees are invited to continue the conversation at the Space Careers & Resources Fair, featuring leading organizations across the space sector, including Draper, Busek, MIT Kavli Institute, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, NASA, IEEE, JustSpace Alliance, Space Force Association, DarkSky Massachusetts, and more.

After the event, grab dinner in the area and don’t miss the Space Week Gala starting at 8:30 pm, where you’ll have the opportunity to connect with local space organizations such as AIAA, BSN, AsMA, MIT Rocket Team and many others.

Parking & Public Transportation
The event will take place at the MIT Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Space Research. Nearby parking options include the MIT Vassar Street Garage and the University Park Garage, both within a short walking distance.
The venue is easily accessible by public transportation. It is about a 10-minute walk from Kendall/MIT Station (Red Line). From Kendall Square, walk west along Main Street, then turn onto Vassar Street toward MIT’s main campus. Building 37 (MIT Kavli Institute) will be located along Vassar Street.
