Join us to celebrate the beauty and tradition of Hawaiian Hula with a community performance; FREE to all! This introduction to classical and modern hula is presented by HĀLAU HULA O NĀ MAUNA KOMOHANA | Hula School of the Western Mountains.
Doors at 6:30pm. Event starts at 7:00pm. This is a one-time only event. Run Time is approx 45-min. Seating in General Admission, we recommend reserving a seat in advance. At the door seating may be available.

ABOUT HĀLAU HULA O NĀ MAUNA KOMOHANA
Founded in Boulder in 1993. By instructor: M. Pumehana Paisner, MA in Dance Ethnology, University of Hawai'i, Manoa. They teach and perform ancient and modern Hawaiian hula. "Hula is the language of the heart and therefore the heartbeat of the Hawaiian people." - King David Kalākaua, last King of Hawai'i.

The Spark
boasts a 4600sqft venue space that includes a large reception lobby
inspired by modern art galleries, two dance studios with sprung floors,
and a flexible open-air theater. Our space is available to rent for
artists, community groups, educational pods and private events!
