In Concert | Sondheim & Schonberg

On stage this summer we are proud to present, in arrangement with Hal Leonard, a two-act in concert performance featuring musical selections from two treasured musical theater titles. The sensational music of Sondheim's, Into the Woods. Followed by the dramatic and familiar music of Schonberg's, Les Miserables.

One of Sondheim's most popular works, Into the Woods is a musically sophisticated dark comedy. The Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching. 

Les Miserables is the world’s longest running musical — a true modern classic based on Victor Hugo's novel and featuring one of the most memorable scores of all time. With countless awards to its name it is as groundbreaking today as it was when it first premiered in London in 1985.

This unique in concert performance experience features captivating vocal soloists accompanied by a live band and vocal choir. 

Run Time is approx 2-hrs including a 15-min Intermission.

Rated PG. It is recommended for all ages. Some material may not be suitable for all audiences.

ABOUT THE SPARK & OUR SPACE!

The Spark is a multi-generational theater company. Our company is made up primarily of non-union professional artists and students considering a career path in theater through higher education.

The Spark space welcomes 96 audience members. Starting this season ALL seating at The Spark is reserved. Before buying your tickets please ensure you have coordinated with your full group to ensure you are seated together AND check with your actor regarding which performances they are featured in.
