The Museum of the Staffordshire Yeomanry (Queen's Own Royal Regiment)

The Museum of the Staffordshire Yeomanry is a registered charity located in the heart of Stafford at the magnificent Ancient High House in Greengate Street. The museum provides a rich history of the lives of the many men who lived, fought and died for their country. It displays an unrivalled collection of memorabilia connected with the Regiment, from period uniforms, artefacts, photographs and documents. The Regiment has been part of the county since it was raised in 1794 and has been in active service in all major conflicts. The museum illustrates this wonderfully through its displays which help to pass on the history of the Regiment to future generations.
