Full Day: 9.15am – 4pm with a 45-minute lunch break - £20

About this group:

This is a friendly and inclusive group, for those with a passion for painting and drawing wanting to learn more and push on to new levels.

In this tutor-led group, everyone is treated as a practising artist and offered tutoring and encouragement in all aspects of art practice they wish to explore, with encouragement to develop their own individual artistic identity.

Sessions will run as open studio sessions under the tutelage of Painter and Sculptor Jon Dent.  Members can develop their own projects with Jon’s guidance. 

What to bring: Please bring paper or a canvas to draw or paint on and pens, pencils or paints to work in and with, as well as an image or objects to draw. 

About Jon:

Jon returned to his North Lincolnshire homeland having spent nearly thirty years delivering consistently outstanding Art and Design education throughout the Further and Higher Education sectors. As well as having a National and International professional practice as an Artist spanning over thirty-five years.

Whatever your subject; Still Life, Portraits, Animals, Landscape, whatever your preferred medium; Oils, Watercolour, Pastels or Charcoal, The Steel Rooms Art Group will help you get your Art practice moving forward at a pace!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WORKSHOPS

Payment is non-refundable unless we are able to fill your space. In the event of cancellation no less than 14 days prior to the workshop date the credit may be transferred. If The Steel Rooms cancels a workshop you will be entitled to a full refund or to transfer payment to another workshop. If a session which has been prepaid at the discounted rate is cancelled, the discounted rate will carry over to the next workshop.
