Skokie’s tradition of public art is about to grow even brighter! 

This spring, The Storefront (4051 Main St.) will welcome a brand new mural by Skokie-born visual artist Sarah Goone, founder of Radiant Eye Studio.

About Sarah: Known for her bold, playful and immersive large-scale works, Goone transforms everyday spaces into portals of color, imagination and community connection. Weather permitting, installation will begin in early April.

How it happened: The project is made possible in part through the support of the Village’s Public Arts Advisory Committee, continuing Skokie’s long history of championing public creativity.

Be part of the creative energy behind The Storefront’s new mural. On Saturday, April 11 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Goone will lead a FREE community workshop where participants can see the mural in progress, learn about her artistic process, and create a mini‑mural of their own with her guidance.
