Twelve People Telling True Stories — Phone-Free, Alcohol-Free

Sat 17 Oct 2026 1:15 PM - 3:00 PM Central London (Full Address Disclosed 24 Hours Before Event)

For one hour and forty-five minutes on a Saturday afternoon, twelve people sit in a circle in central London and tell each other true things.

There's coffee, tea, cold lemonade and water, and plenty of sweet and savoury snacks. There are prompts if you want them, and a pause in the middle where the best conversations usually happen. It's phone-free and alcohol-free — no networking, no name badges, and nothing in anyone's hand but a cup.

You don't have to tell a story. Listening counts. Plenty of people come and say nothing for the first hour, and that's not just allowed, it's expected.

FROM THE FIRST CIRCLE, 1 AUGUST

"I left feeling genuinely moved. Listening to others, I found myself rediscovering parts of my own past, including little forgotten pieces of childhood I hadn't thought about in years."
— Geanina

"In a world dominated by screens, this was the perfect antidote to digital fatigue. We put our phones away completely, sat together and let natural conversation guide our Saturday afternoon."
— Malvika

WHAT THE AFTERNOON IS MADE OF

The Arrival — ten minutes with a hot drink before anything begins. No one is put on the spot.

The Question — one prompt, offered once. Whoever wants to answer it, answers it. Four or five minutes each, no notes.

The Pause — snacks, tea, and the conversations that start when the formal bit stops. Most people say this is the best part.

The Return — the circle picks up where it left off. Same question, but by now the room has changed.

THE DETAILS

Saturday 17 October 2026, 1:15–3:00pm
Central London — we send the full address 24 hours before, to everyone at once
We seat twelve.
Coffee, tea, lemonade, water and sweet and savoury snacks included
Tickets aren't refundable, but they are flexible. You can transfer your seat to another circle within three months, or give it to someone else, up to 24 hours before. Refund protection is available at checkout if you'd rather have it. And if we cancel or move a date, you'll be refunded in full.

Come alone or bring someone — both work.

Bring something small to hold. A book you're reading, a photo, an object with a story in it. You don't have to use it. Most people find they want to.

There's always a mix of sweet and savoury, and everything's clearly labelled. We can't work around specific allergies, but the food isn't really what you're here for.

— Andreea. I started this because I wanted somewhere to go where nobody asks what I do for a living. I'll be in the circle too, with a story of my own and the same nerves as everyone else.
