Finnish Myths and Moomins: A Curator's Tour

This exhibition explores the stories behind the objects. Long before Finnish design became an international symbol of modernism, nature and myth had shaped the country's creative identity. Their influence can be found in everything from glass and ceramics to textiles and furniture, where craftsmanship, natural forms and quiet beauty come together in objects designed to enrich everyday life.

At the heart of the exhibition is Tove Jansson and the extraordinary world of the Moomins. Inspired by the Finnish landscape and animated by themes of belonging, curiosity, acceptance and resilience, the Moomin stories have become one of Finland's most enduring cultural exports.
