"Such Feeling" Screening

Aaa, Billy, Dawid, Filipka, and Olo perform, support each other, and protest, facing a hostile environment for queer people in Poland. In his first feature-length film, artist and choreographer Alex Baczyński-Jenkins accompanied this group of friends for a few years. Performances, protests, ordinary and ephemeral moments mix with conversations about happiness, sex, and dreams. The director sometimes documents, sometimes co-creates situations from within, that are intimate, playful, rebellious and erotic. Such Feeling is a diary of everyday life. It includes the first times acting on a theatre stage, as a performer in a porn film, and using new pronouns. Such Feeling is a film about queer life; a portrait of friends and a documentary about transformation, intimacy, and performance.
