Bring in the New Year in style with a showcase concert featuring nine outstanding emerging young artists from the UK’s leading conservatoires.

Each singer will perform a popular and inspiring aria — great operatic moments by Handel, Donizetti, Verdi, and more — accompanied by acclaimed pianist Craig J White.

This celebratory evening highlights the next generation of operatic talent in a vibrant concert setting.

Admittance is free, with donations warmly welcomed to fund scholarships and future programmes by the British Opera Academy (BOA).

The evening concert will follow a special afternoon masterclass at 2 pm, which will be open to the public and conducted by two master teachers who have sung with the Metropolitan Opera, Chicago Lyric Opera, Paris Opera, Frankfurt Opera, English National Opera, and Glyndebourne: Soprano Elizabeth Byrne and Tenor Allan Glassman. They are both professors at Roosevelt University in Chicago, where they also serve on the summer faculty of the Chicago Summer Opera.
