The Sussex Sober Social - Supper Club

Our very first Sussex Sober Social Club event is here !

Have you ever fancied a fun night out with good food and great company, without the evening revolving around a drink and the thoughts of how you'll feel the next day?

This Supper Club will be a fun evening to meet new friends, try some delicious premium alcohol-free cocktails and wines, and enjoy a lovely meal, and wake up the next day bright eyed, not bleary eyed! 

This is for you if you're alcohol-free, sober curious, or maybe you're looking to socialise and have a good night out without the pressure of drinking - wherever you are, it's a great chance to meet like-minded people in and around Lewes.
For this first event we have a limited number of places available so please book early to reserve your place.

What's included

• A welcome drinks hour in the upstairs lounge with *Alex, The Sober Sommelier, with two alcohol-free cocktails and a tasting of alcohol-free wines
• A two-course dinner in the White Hart's private Headstrong Club room
• An alcohol-free drink with your meal (*if you order anything else this will be chargeable to you)

Alex Norwood Hill, aka The Sober Sommelier, will be hosting the welcome drinks hour at our first supper club, and his story is pretty amazing. He started out in the 90s as a mixologist in London at Marco Pierre White's Canteen in Chelsea and in Miami at Michael Caine's South Beach Brasserie. Then in 2017, after a trip to Ibiza, he chose sobriety and founded The Sober Sommelier, and he's since become one of the leading names in alcohol-free drinks. He's consulted on Hastings' first alcohol-free bar, The Nest, created drinks for festivals and wellness events, and judged at the World Alcohol-Free Awards. As a house DJ of over 30 years, he also co-founded Sober Sound System Ibiza, the island's first sober daytime party residency, which has gone on to work with the likes of American Express and TEDx Ibiza.
Alex will be showcasing some of the premium Alcohol-Free drinks brands he represents making two alcohol-free cocktails, plus a tasting of alcohol-free wines, before we head into the Headstrong Club private dining room for dinner.

Thursday 19 November, arriving 6:45pm for the pre-dinner alcohol-free drinks with dinner from 8pm.

£65 per person

Menu will be sent via email to pre-order your food once you have confirmed your ticket.

I'll be there to greet you, and we'll mix some seats at dinner, so you get to meet others :)

Tickets are non-refundable but can be passed on to a friend if you can't make it.
