A Seat At The Table

Join us for an evening of connection, conversation and community while enjoying delicious sharing plates curated by Freska on Sunday 19th of October at 5:30pm at Magic Hat. 

Freska, a woman led business dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences, will serve a specially curated menu of seasonal small plates designed to share. We'll be co-hosting with The Table Project, a community that uplifts and celebrates women in the hospitality sector across the North East. 

At Smart Works Newcastle, 32.5% of the women we support go into the hospitality sector, an industry where women are overrepresented in low paid roles and underrepresented in leadership. This supper club is a way for us to recognise their talent, dedication and potential while connecting like minded people who believe in empowering women. 

There will also be the opportunity to shop a curated clothing rail from Smart Works Newcastle and take part in a fundraising raffle to raise money for Smart Works Newcastle. 

• An arrival drink is included within the ticket price.
• This event is open to all - regardless of gender, age or work occupation. Everyone is welcome in joining us in supporting and celebrating women in hospitality.
• This whole menu is gluten free. Unfortunately we are unable to cater for nut and sesame allergy for this menu. If you have any other dietary requirements, please contact us PRIOR to booking to guarantee they can be accommodated.
• This menu will be served family style.
• A range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks fitting with the menu will be available to purchase on the day.

• Photos will be taken of the restaurant and the surroundings. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these images being shared online. If this is an issue, please let us know.
• Seating will be communal and we will have family style dining to encourage conversation and community.
• Food is prepared in a kitchen that handles all allergens, and we take great care when catering for dietary requirements or allergies. However, there is still some risk of cross-contamination.

Refund Information:

• Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds on tickets. However, if your circumstances change and you can no longer attend, please contact us as soon as possible.
• Please note a 100% cancellation fee will apply if your tickets cannot be filled within 48 hours of the event.
