An online class teaching the all important hand stitches used in bespoke tailoring. Included are pad stitch (used in lapels and collar), slip and cross stitch (used for linings and ornamental seams) as well as top, whip and blanket stitch (for the hand finishing of the garment).

This course takes place on Friday 23th February 2024, 2pm to 5pm UK time.

Required for participation:

• Intermediate level experience in hand-sewing
• A sewing kit including needles (size 10 to 12) thimble and a small, sharp pair of scissors
• A reel of regular gauge sewing thread (polyester or cotton)
• 12pc of 30 x 15 cm (12" x 6") swatches of woven wool or cotton fabric
• An iron and ironing board

Class size is limited to only six participants to ensure a personal learning experience. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
