Bespoke Pattern Construction: The Custom Shirt (3 Day Event)
Mon 17 Feb 2025 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM GMT
Online, Zoom
Description
A three-part live online class teaching the construction of a bespoke cutting pattern for the classic custom shirt. No previous experience required. Literature provided.
This class is dedicated to the drafting of the bespoke pattern from scratch. Based on actual body measurements, rather than using pre-fabricated blocks, the course teaches the art of cutting for the individual - yourself or a customer.
This is a three-day course, taking place from Mon 17th to Wed 19th February 2025, each day from 10:00am to 12:30pm UK time (please only book for the first date).
Participants will be able to create their own patterns using the literature we provide with the class. Measurements are in the metric system.
This class enables you to take part in our popular Custom Shirt Making course, taking place from Mon 2nd to Fri 6th June 2024.
To enhance the online experience, we draft in small scale, on A3 paper. A measuring tape and set of instructions are provided prior to the course.
Included in the price:
- Your complete cutting pattern in 1:3 scale (body, sleeve, collar)
- The skill to repeat the draft in full-scale, for anyone, anytime
- Written instructions for future reference
- A recording of the lesson for download
