The Level 5 Diploma in Bespoke Tailoring (RQF)

The Level 5 Diploma is the ultimate in UK tailoring training: developed by Savile Row Bespoke and accredited by the UK Fashion and Textiles Association (UKFT), the regulated qualification offers a modern day alternative to the traditional apprenticeship: it delivers vocational training at the highest level, with a strong focus on practical skills. 

Thinking of a professional career in bespoke tailoring, stage/film production or high end fashion design? This is the course for you! The full skill set is delivered in a structured curriculum, in just one year. Uniquely, we teach the sought-after skills for both, the male and female figure type. 

Our graduates are highly sought after by bespoke tailoring houses, theatre, opera and film production, as a well as in high end fashion. One of our many success stories is graduate Victoria Demekhina, who went on to win second place at the prestigious Golden Shears Awards in 2023! 

The programme is hugely popular with candidates from around the world and, following our accreditation by the British Accreditation Council (BAC), it is now also accessible for overseas students, in the form of our International Programme

Whether you're looking for an entry point to a professional career, or simply enjoy adding new skills to your garment making repertoire, our online and short courses are designed for anyone looking to learn the skills needed to create tailored garments for individuals.

Come and visit our studio for Open Day on 22 November, meet students and tutors and get an overview of the programme. If you fancy a little practice right here and then, take part in our mini-workshop, where we teach you to stitch a hand buttonhole!

Please be aware our in-person classes are 18+. Minors need to be accompanied by an adult on the day.
