A Custom Shirt, made by you in time for Christmas!
This online class includes BOTH the pattern construction and the cutting and making of a classic, UNISEX custom shirt. Learn and practice the meticulous techniques the shirt is famous for (French seams, collar options, hand button holes). Top quality fabrics, threads and buttons are all included - please see the details below. We ship these to your home address - simply book and let us do the rest!
Modelled on our popular Online Tailoring classes, we guide you through the process in manageable weekly tutorials, demonstrating each process step close-up on screen. The course takes place on Zoom from 18 September to 4 December 2026, every Friday from 10am to 1pm Recordings are made available following each class for those who cannot attend in person. A chat channel facilitates direct communication with the course tutor between live sessions.
Entry Requirements
Suitable for participants with an intermediate level of sewing experience, the class delivers all fundamental techniques of the custom shirt making process. Prior knowledge of pattern construction is not required as we guide you through the process step-by-step. Participants learn to create individual cutting patterns and receive illustrated PDF instructions with the class. The draft method is repeatable and will serve as blueprint in future projects. Measurements are in the metric system.
